How the application process works (Read This!)

Greetings applicant! The information which follows will serve to provide you with valuable knowledge which will not only aid you in your application process, but as a new member, will help you to be well versed in the ways of Redrum. The Interview & Application Process Once you have submitted your application using the application template (which can be found stickied in the application forum), the officers of RR Inc will consider you for a trial within the guild. This consideration will be affected by numerous things. These things include: your application and how well-presented you have made it, your experience, your gear level, demonstration of adept knowledge of your class based on your gear/gem/enchant choices, your reputation on the server, your standing with other members in the guild (vouches etc), and many other factors. Please be patient after you have posted your application (if you 'pester' us all the time about the status of your application, then we will be more likely to decline you, as we do not take kindly to being spammed) - it can take us a few days to do any background research we may need to do into your previous guild history and check your references/vouches etc. During this 'waiting period' before our officers respond, our members will probably post their own comments on your application. These can be both positive and negative. If we decide that we feel you would be a benefit to RR Inc, the recruitment officer, Dodje, will post in your application thread requesting to speak to you on our Ventrilo server. This is the second stage of your application process. While being interviewed by Dodje on Ventrilo, you will have the opportunity to ask questions about the guild about anything which you are uncertain about and hasn't already been covered in the 'Guild Rules' section which can be found above under the 'About Us' heading on the site's menu bar. The voice interview can last from anything as little as 20 minutes to upwards of 1 hour. The voice interview is requested so that we can get to know you better as a person, instead of just reading your vital statistics from your application and your armory profile. If You Are Declined If your application has been declined, then there will certainly be a reason for it. If your application failed before the voice inteview stage, then you will see posted in your application thread, the reason why we have declined you. More often than not we have declined you simply because we have enough of your class already. If your application was declined at the voice interview stage, then you will of course be told the reasons vocally during the interview. Declinations should never be taken personally. If for any reason you think you have been judged unfairly in your application, then feel free to contact an officer of the guild to discuss the matter further. If you have been declined because we have too many of your class already, please keep monitoring the front page of our website as we may in future be looking for your class, in which case we welcome your re-application to the guild. If You Are Accepted If you are accepted into the guild, then an officer will ask you if you are ready for an guildinvite. We appreciate that sometimes applicants might need some time to say goodbye to old friends in previous guilds and it might take some time. If this is the case, then please inform us during the voice interview of the date / time which you expect to be ready to join the guild. Becoming A New Member When you become a member of RR Inc, you will be able to find all the information you require to set up your Ventrilo correctly, and should waste no time in doing so. The Ventrilo information can be found in the 'Guild Information' section of the Social tab. After you have set up your Ventrilo, you should proceed to the RedRumInc.com forums and post in the 'Requesting Access' section to request access to some of the 'member only' sections of the website. In due course, our administrators/officers will bump your access and you will find yourself privvy to the Class Forums and General Crew Chat. Checking out the class forum for your class is a great first step. A lot of the time you will find threads contained within it about your spec and your rotations which might be information you didn't know. Knowledge is your best asset in a raid. Having as much as possible will only help you perform better. The Trial When you first join the guild you will be under the rank of 'Deckswab'. Deckswab is the Trial rank, and while you're under this rank the officers will be constantly monitoring your performance. We'll just be looking at how you're performing in raids and if you're doing the best you can for the gear you have. After a little time, which can take anything between 1 and 3 weeks, the officers of RR Inc will meet to determine whether or not we feel you are what we are looking for. If you are, you will be boosted up to the rank of 'First Pirate', and congratulated for passing your trial! If you are deemed to have failed the trial, then sadly we will be saying farewell to you. An officer can be contacted if you wish to follow up as to why you have been declined during your trial, and you should receive an ingame mail from one of them regarding it. The Evaluation The officers will be constantly evaluating your gameplay within raids to see if you are up to scratch, and are 'Rummer Material'. There are some very simple ways to impress the officers and to pass your trial period, here they are: 1. Do your best- We can't ask for more than for you to do your best. If you are doing your best, then well done, you've just taken the first step towards becoming a Pirate under our legendary banner. By your best, what we mean is: Raiding with the best spec, using the best consumables, using all possible consumables, farming the best gear you can get, being on time for raids, being prepared for raids (reagents, flasks, buff foods, and most importantly of all, knowing the tactics for ALL bosses in the highest tier of the current content), and having a positive outlook on the raid. 2. Know your spec- Knowing your class and how to play is optimal. You're having trouble in raids? Talk to somebody in the guild. There's bound to be somebody around who you can have a chat with who has been playing the class for a long time and can give you pointers. Never be scared to ask questions! We love them! Infact, if you're asking questions, that tells us that your eyes are open, that you're being vigilant (we love that word in this guild) and that you're looking to improve yourself. All great things! 3. Be friendly- Always have a positive mental attitude and be respectful to your fellow guildies! If you like a bit of banter and joking, jump on Ventrilo and feel chat to any of the people on there, as we're usually there 24 hours of the day! If you can do these things, you're exactly what we're looking for, and, barring the unfortunate, you can look forward to passing your trial. Why do you want to join Redrum Inc and what do you feel you will bring to the guild?
-I want to join this guild because I'm looking for a high end raiding guild that has built up a reputation not just from raiding. If accepted to this guild you will see a very determined player who is open to advice and opinions during Raiding. In my old guild I had problems with people turning up for 'Farm' bosses and never turning up for Progress, I know how annoying this is, which is why i give 100% raid attendance to Progress bosses aswell as Farm bosses. I also like the idea of a 'trial period', hopefully this period will give me time to prove my worth.

When did you start playing WoW and what previous raiding experience do you have?

Note : i originally played on the Realm Dunemaul - EU, until i transferred recently with my RL friends

-I started playing WoW during BC, i was shown the game by some friends and enjoyed it from the start. This was on a rogue character on the Realm Dunemaul EU, however i did not get seriously in to the game and begin raiding until the Release of WOTLK, on my rogue i was in a guild called "Genesis", In this guild i cleared Naxxramas and began to advance in Ulduar, This guid disbanded due to the raid leader quitting WoW. I began too level a Mage and instantly saw the enjoyment and potential in my new character. A few months later i was level 80 and with the upcoming release of ICC i found my place in a new guild called "FlatlinerS". I started off as a trial in this guild, rapidly working my way up to a member due to my reliability and success in ICC, i managed to clear up to 8/12 in ICC 25 in this guild. Then a population crunch hit the Alliance side with more people every day migrating to Horde. The core members of FlatlinerS transferred over to Horde and i went with them, we created a new guild called "Anguish", i became an officer in this guild and found myself leading the 10 man groups. Around this time my mage was gearing up at an insane pace, clearing 11/12 in 10 man and 25 meant i was getting loot left right and centre. I learnt a lot from this guild and enjoyed Leading the 10 man group. This guild soon disbanded due to some of the Core members leaving the guild.

I understand RR Inc are running Heroic : ICC, i know i have no progress in this, (apart from Lootship and Marrowgar), However, i can assure i have not yet had the chance to reach the heroic bosses, but i know their tactics from watching the "Tankspot" videos. I know this does not entirely prepare me for the boss, but i will know the mechanics for Heroics

- No, i'm currently in a social guild that was made with RL friends.

- If i run out of money, or the game no longer gives me any enjoyment.

- I feel it would be easier if i answer the question this way.

Monday : 100%

Tuesday : 100%

Saturday/Sunday : I Get back at 18:00 on sunday, so unless of major delay i can make the raid time.

Which means i can attend every raid if needed.

What do you feel your class and spec bring to the raid? Do you feel like you need to explain some talent choices in the spec you have chosen?
- Being a Fire mage, i bring a lot of Core dps to the raid, however i feel this is not the most important factor. Being a mage i am very beneficial for the raid, Focus Magic, Arcane Brilliance, Refreshment Table etc. However i also have high survivability in boss fights that require a lot of maneoverability, due to moves such as Blink, This makes me a valuable player in a raid, and i hope to show this.

Are you willing to change your talent spec to help the guild, and if so, do you have gear for any off-specs already?
-Of course, if the guild feels that changing my specc would improve the raid then that's what i would do. Yes i have gear for an Arcane Specc.

- I chose mining as my main income to afford Gems Enchants etc.

- Yes, i have Vent installed and a Turtle Beach Headset with microphone.

What is your position on PvP?
- I recently got the 'PvP bug' on my mage, getting about 160k honor in two days, this was fun and enabled me to get a lot of PvP gear. I'm considering an arena team, but at the current moment i'm not a serious pvp'er, but would like too be.

What is your position on roleplaying?
-Don't mind it, i often do it and try and avoid going OOC
Where did you hear about RR Inc?
-I heard about the guild when i came to this server not long ago, it was instantly apparent that this was a amazing guild with a great reputation on the server.

Answer: Lady Deathwhisper, This spell runs out after a few seconds, but to avoid any damage to the raid the person who has been MC'ed needs to be Sheeped / Cyclone'd.

Blood Queen if you do not 'Bite' anyone fast enough, this can be very damaging to the raid.

2. Medium: In which boss encounters can the boss be "empowered" by 3 or more sub-bosses? Bonus points if you can name more than 2.
Answer: Sartharion, for the "Of the Nightfall" Achievment, or "Twilight Vanquisher" in 25 man.

3. Hard: Which PvE mounts (mounts obtainable through instances or raiding achievements) are no longer able to be obtained ingame? Bonus points if you can name more than 3.
Answer: Scarab mount, Amani War bear.

4. Hardest: In which bossfight must you fight both the boss and his or her mount? Bonus points if you can name more than 2.
Answer: Attumen the Huntsman and his mount "Midnight".

Round 2: Raiding & You

1. What is the hardest bossfight you have ever experienced? What was your role in this fight and how did it turn out?
Answer: ICC 25, Lich King, My role in this fight was the same as any other dps, however we did not get a chance to kill him before the Guild Disbanded.

Answer: Progression, nothing beats getting a new boss down with a guild of determined people, Skill and i enjoy seeing the Mechanics of a fight.

3. What has been your impression of Wrath of the Lich King so far?
Answer: Very good, however i am dissapointed with The Ruby Sanctum, it's not as amazing and spectacular as i imagined.

-Started playing 3 months after vanilla release. Killed up 2 anub in vanilla, did all execpt sunwell in tbc, done all bosses execpt ruby sanct in wotlk

-Been in rr inc 3 or 4 times, quit beacuse i got bored of the game.

-Well first of all, i will play as a druid in catalysm, healing have never been my thing, but will gear for tanking healing and Pew pew boomkin.

Answer: Was in Ad ( ascending dawn) tried 2 take down neffy realm first(played on my rogue), we were having probs cuzz we didnt have fearward, so we took a priest from a diffrent guild and got it down .

Answer: Well i think they really rushed it out 2 fast, it was really facerollable and boring... i hope they fix that with catalysm.

- Good dps. I choose hit rating up to 14% and i have 14% hit rating that means i never miss a spell so i only focus on SP haste and crit. Sp over haste and crit and haste over crit. so i cast faster and hit more.

For Raid exp back then . I would say Gruul's ofc Karazan and I got hacked so I had no gear and stopped playing until WotLK

You wont know these guilds but I will list Auchindoun. This was the guild I made we got to 10/12 10-man until Officers were arguing with each other and members were getting bored, so I left I joined and they hit 12/12 while I was in the raid but I left due to some old people forming a new guild ( I know caps... they will get a gm to sort that out soon) Im still in there with my Prot pala, SV hunter and my Rogue.

I want too join RR Inc, i've been contemplating coming too here for quite a while now too be with friends and such, and whilst being here i wouldnt like too be hanging around in a casual crew or be dragged in too being a 'Trade Chat Hero' I'd like too join a steady progressing guild, and it seems you guys have that edge that you know what your doing and what you want. My class brings various buffs depending on what speci am, but as a tank i prefer too give myself and other tanks commanding shout, but if theres another warrior in the raid he can provide battle shout, now i believe my key buff is too a dps hungry raider, Vigilance..probably my favourite buff in the game..

I can explain my spec!

he spec i'm using now is 15/3/53, in warrior protection tree in my opinion isn't that much optional, to combine threat and avoidance i'd say this is standard, but some of the key talents i chosen instead of some other warriors is i choosed Improved Disciplines which is 60 seconds less cooldown on Shield Wall insted of 2% crit. Shockwave, Concussion Blow, Vigilance, Last Stand and Devastate are key abilities together with Sword and Board talant. I've also glyphed Vigilance to gain more TPS, other glyphs are Devastate to get Sunder Armor up on the target as fast as possible and Blocking as glyph since block is a nice viable stat and the only mitigation that hasn't a DR.

Mining - I Chose this proffesion as the best raid suitable proff too use, it gives me 60+ Stamina, which is better than what any other can offer me, and i view maximising your health pool as a tank is quite important

Jewelcrafting - Ok, so not the best raid buff proff, but it helps me utilise my gear too the best of its abilities..But its only at 7 currently but i'm in the process of levelling it

- I think you should choose me because I am dedicated player with good knowledge of my class and all encounters in game. I'm a well rounded player and have more than just recount in mind, while I appreciate the importance of personal dps, I put killing of the boss as priority and look after my teammates and help out in any way that my abilities and skills allow. For instance I'm always relied upon when it comes to CCing MCd players in LDW or pushing back beasts on Saurfang etc.
I'm also good at keeping team spirit up on vent.

When did you start playing WoW and what previous raiding experience do you have?
- Started to play on US server Mok'Nathal back at the start of TBC cause I was studying in Canada when I picked up the game. Was a dwarf paladin noob and didnt know how to play. Got to lvl 70 in 3 months, altho was playing on daily basis for many hours a day. Guild I was in failed at doing TBC heroics, not even talking about raiding.
Then got back home and spent some time in forums reading up on how to not fail. Rerolled horde feral druid and was having fun with it. Stepped into a guild that was raiding and eventually was promoted to an officer. We cleared pretty much all content when Sunwell Plateau hit the floor I had to quit raiding due to RL work stuff and just logged on to do BGs and stuff. Got Conqueror title.
Then had to take a break for few months. In 2008 I moved to Ireland. Bought EU version of the game in beginning of 2009, leveled this druid as my main and been playing it eversince. Was feral at start, but due to overpopulation of ferals in the guild and lack of boomkins I changed my mainspec to boomkin (back in end of 2009, when boomkin dps sucked). On druid I have cleared pretty much everything there is to clear in current content. Naxx, Ulduar (Death's Demise), ToC (Grand Crusader), ICC10 and ICC25 both 11/12 HC, and normal RS10 and 25.

Which previous guilds have you been a member of and why did you leave them?
- Darkside and Cure on alliance side. Current horde guild is Fortuna on Blade's Edge. I am considering leaving Fortuna because the guild is falling apart. We were nr 1 guild on server for long time and server first in LK 25 normal, most of the ICC HC modes, Yogg+0 and Tribute to Insanity. However over the past few months we are experiencing huge losses with many skilled people either quiting WoW, transfering, changing guilds, going social. Anyway currently we are even struggling to bring 25 players online on Wednesday, that is usually the most active day and out of those 25 about half are trials now cause main players are no longer showing up.
The morale is low even officers don't show enthusiasm anymore, vent is quiet and to put the long story short - the guild is crumbleing. So I am currently in search for new home for my druid and possibly alts.

Have you recently applied to any other guilds, or are you planning to?
- Yes, I am applying to several guilds that have good PvE progression.

Under which circumstances would you stop playing WoW or leave the guild?
- Cant see myself stoping in forseeable future. Leaveing guild only when its falling apart.

Our raiding schedule is Sunday to Thursday from 19:00 to 23:30 server time. How many days a week, on average, would you be able to attend?

What do you feel your class and spec bring to the raid? Do you feel like you need to explain some talent choices in the spec you have chosen?
- With endgame gear it is better to totally leave Moonfire out and focus the rotation around upkeep of IS and Wrath/Starfire spam according to Eclipse procs while Starfalling on CD. Also that opens up an extra glyph spot for 100% health battlerez, which is really handy for ICC HC where theres lots of AoE damage flying around and rezzed players with low health can die again if their timing for coming up wont be perfect.

Are you willing to change your talent spec to help the guild, and if so, do you have gear for any off-specs already?
- Yes, got feral bear gear 264-277 (4x sanctified)

Please explain the reasons behind your choice of professions.
- Most proffessions give pretty much the same upgrades, I like the fun part of engineering and it also gives nice crit aside from parachute and rocketboots. Engineering SP on rings ofcourse.

- Yes. around 20fps in 25man, 30fps in 10man and dont even remember when I had a DC.

Do you have Ventrilo installed and a working microphone and will you be vocal?
- Yes, installed and use in while raiding and outside raid time to have a chat with guildies.

What is your position on PvP?
- Love to do BGs, but not on my current battlegroup, cause pur PvE servers are half-merged with german PvP servers and they pwn our faces every day. Thats the reason I also want to join Misery BG, cause u guys as I've red, have short ques and 50-50 winning % in BGs.

What is your position on roleplaying?
- Never done it, but dont have any problems with it.

Where did you hear about RR Inc?
- On your official realm forums.

- TL,DR Browsed through them, seems like all is usual.

- I am talkative mature guy with good sense of humor, I like to joke around and have a chat in vent. I make friends fast and get along with almost everyone. Dont like drama and dont cause it myself, I'm pretty straightforward about whats on my mind.
I take constructive critisism well and love to learn from people who know more than me. Why do you want to join Redrum Inc and what do you feel you will bring to the guild?

I am looking for a top-notch high end raiding guild that can hold its top spot without any summer breaks or any other unexpected circumstances. If the previous is met, I can be both very dedicated player that is giving out the best he can at any causes during any encounter. I am not making differences between progress and farm, my performance will be the same all the time, and a very friendly person that is most of the time in a good mood.

When did you start playing WoW and what previous raiding experience do you have?

My WoW journey began in early Burning Crusade times. If you dont mind i would like to explain this question in paragraph below.

Which previous guilds have you been a member of and why did you leave them?

I have joined a casual guild where I was only doing BGs and Karazhan from time to time. Later on, most of the members created a new guild that aimed to clear as much as it could before the expansion arrived. In 2 months we have done 4 bosses in MH and 6 bosses in BT. In the new expansion I had very bad luck with guilds disbanding. In early Naxxramas times i have joined guild Outcast at that moment rank 3. guild. As we progressed through Ulduar the guild disbanded due to its core members being dissapointed with the expansion. The next guild I have joined was Flying Circus, probably the most known guild on Darksorrow due to its World First's in Vanilla and BC. This guild also disbanded when ToC came. I have moved myself to guild Lorekeepers in hope that this is the right place for me. With bosses releasing in ToC I got very very dissapointed by this instance and left WoW completely, to sometimes casually log and was waiting for ICC to come. In ICC i have accomplished to achieve 11/12 bosses on Heroic with my current guild Amplified. The reason I want to leave this guild, even tho I like the people in it and the guild as a whole, is that most of the members decided to reroll Horde faction for upcoming expansion Cataclysm. I have no interests in becoming a Horde player, since I am playing as Alliance for more than 3 years now. There would be only a few of us left currently, but my aim is to start Cataclysm as best as I could and possibly aim for Realm First achievments.

No. This application is one and only.

Under which circumstances would you stop playing WoW or leave the guild?

The only reason for me to stop WoW would be probably "insuficient funds", or some serious illness that would prevent me from playing.

Our raiding schedule is Sunday to Thursday from 19:00 to 23:30 server time. How many days a week, on average, would you be able to attend?

At the moment I am able to be online whenever from 18:30 till 01-02:00, 7 days in a week.

What do you feel your class and spec bring to the raid? Do you feel like you need to explain some talent choices in the spec you have chosen?

Speaking only about class and spec, I am able to bring a lot of buffs. I can have something for each fight. I can throw an insant Chain Heal or Healing Wave on Marrogwar if it is needed. I can be the main interrupter on LDW in second phase + CC Minded people. I can drop Earthbind totem on Saurfang to slow adds etc etc.

My talent spec is top-notch Enhancement DPS spec available at the moment. (You can see some Enhancement shamans speccing one point into Shamanistic Focus instead of Reverbation, but at the moment we have no problem with mana management on any fight).

I have improved SoE totems to provide the highest Strenght/Agility buff, and also 2 points in Improved Windfury Totem in case that Frost DK is missing (or is not specced into Icy Talons).

Are you willing to change your talent spec to help the guild, and if so, do you have gear for any off-specs already?

Yes I am willing to change my talent specialization to help the guild if it is needed. At the moment my off-spec gear is Restoration and I am not planning to change that unless asked for.

Yes, I have new desktop machine that is very reliable. My connection is provided by 10MB Cable. Also very stabil.

Yes I have Ventrillo and working microphone. During the raids I will be only heard when it is needed (CC me on LDW, I have unbound plague - giving it to.. , Shadow Trap / Defile on me etc.) or when I think, I have an idea for a bossfight to improve the progression.

What is your position on PvP?

The only PvP I am involved in, is when i put my 2H axe on, start fraps and having a good time in BGs. Otherwise my attedance in real PvP is near zero. Althought I would love to start arenas with my Warrior alt.

I believe I will bring a focused and knowledgeable member who is dedicated. I really enjoy having mount runs/HC/Achievement runs on old raids.(and new). Progressing with the guild into new raids and being a benefit while im there.

- I started playing WoW in Pre-bc and started gearing as a tank when BC came out. I really enjoyed the raiding content of BC as my guild (Court of the Dragon, Now Eternal Darkness) progressed from Kara – Zul Aman and eventually leading to farming runs of The Eye. We were on Illidan when WOTLK came out and I transferred realm. On my then Current realm I progressed with a guild called The Pub through Naxx and some Ulduar. When they disbanded joined one of the top raiding guilds on the server( Scarshield Legion) Versed. Staying with them till they disbaned I transferred realm to daggerspine where I joined The Covenant (My current guild) and geared up, got into ICC 10 man and showed Arthas who is boss! They are currently on LK10 HC.

Why do you want to join Redrum Inc and what do you feel you will bring to the guild?
I was hoping to find the one guild where I can fit in nicely and get the most out of WoW. It seems like I finally managed to do it. I know in my heart than I am a skilled enough player to join a healthy raiding guild with a good and positive mature environment like Redrum. I have spent a lot of time looking around, reading up on guilds and their requirements. The thing that captured me the most was the honesty u guys express with your recruitment for example on the wowprogress.com website. I didn’t go and apply all over the show as I put in a lot of effort in my application. Redrum seems to have everything I want out of a guild and therefore I decided to apply here. Upon me hopefully joining Redrum u guys, u gain a very active and committed player. A friend willing to help wherever possible and needed.

When did you start playing WoW and what previous raiding experience do you have?
Ok, I’m honest to say that I started playing WoW a few months prior to the launch of WoLK. I’m not 100% sure of the date...It must be the age catching up ><. I basically turned level 70 just before WoLK was released. I had to learn everything about the game myself without any help… My raiding experience started in WoLK with NAXX and of course the rest of the raids after that. At the moment my experience as a Pally Tank(Which is the main role I always joined a raid as) is as follows:

NAXX 10 and 25 man cleared/ Ulduar10 cleared/ Ulduar25(8/14)/ ToC10 normal(5/5)/ ToC10 Heroic cleared/ToC 25 normal cleared/ To25 heroic…although my last guild wasn’t interested in doing any previous 25 man runs really/ ICC10 normal cleared/ ICC10 heroic(11/12)/ ICC25 normal(12/12)/ ICC25 heroic(10/12)

Which previous guilds have you been a member of and why did you leave them?
I also would like to mention that finding a proper raiding guild was very hard for me in the past due to being a tank and of course you will agree with me. From being in my first raiding guild which was called Redeemed(where i was an officer) up till I joined Winter Night (My last Guild and where i was on trial till i left, i wasn’t kicked).Redeemed changed their name to Undefeated(I was an officer) which disbanded later on. I then joined the guild called Elder(I was an officer) which also disbanded. I then created my own guild which i called “The Last Legion” where i was the GM. We had a lack of commitment with people signing for raids and not showing so i then approached another guild and recommended a merge if possible where we became “Aura” and where i stayed on as the GM. Everything went very well till the same thing started again...a lack of interest in raids and commitment. I then disbanded the guild because of that so i really do know what’s at stake when running a guild. I joined a guild called “Immortal” where my wife was a member, thinking i would be used at least. While being there i wasn’t used at all so i applied at the guild called “Guardians of Destiny” where i hoped for the same thing. I got into “Guardians of Destiny” where i was at least used(not much) but honestly treated in a manner that made me very unhappy. I then left them and rejoined “Immortal” as a social member. I took my raiding a bit slow then where i applied at “Winter Night” which was my last guild. That was my first Realm change so it was a bit lonely to be on a new realm not knowing anyone at all. I have been in “Winter Night” for a month as a trial and soon realised that things wasn’t very honest there concerning the rotations of the tanks ect.. I don’t think i can tell u much about the Moonglade realm other than being on it for a month. Honestly, think I was quite unlucky. Every time we start to progress the guild either disbands, peeps left and of course a new raid get released, and people don’t want to go back and finish..... With all that happening it made it kind of hard for me to progress perfectly. All I need it a very stable mature guild where I can prove myself and work myself up in the rankings as required. Although Winter Night was a very stable guild, I wasn’t used the way I expected to be used. Being on standby and “friends” getting priority was the only thing getting to me. Getting locked for a few bosses and then getting swapped with a lockout was really sad. I don’t mind rotating at all but u get rotating and then u get rotating.....For instance the Syndragosa 25 Heroic fight replacing me with a much less geared tank to progress with just because of being a friend. That was when i realised that the guild’s interest wasn’t priority. I don’t expect to be picked above anyone else, but at least for them to be fair.

Have you recently applied to any other guilds, or are you planning to?
I did apply, waited for almost a week to get declined for no reason that made any sense to me, even if i asked why i didn’t get any response.

Under which circumstances would you stop playing WoW or leave the guild?
Well, concerning stopping to play WoW, as soon as i can’t afford it anymore or when i really really get bored with the game. Leaving a guild on the other hand, i will never leave a guild just because i want to. I am a very committed and active player. I get along with others very easy and i am not a drama lama. But the moment i realise dishonesty, backstabbing and cruelty i will probably rethink it. But first i will consult with the according people like the MG or the appropriate Officer if need be.

Our raiding schedule is Sunday to Thursday from 19:00 to 23:30 server time. How many days a week, on average, would you be able to attend?
I can attend all of them without any problem, unless real life does an unexpected thing, which happens to anyone.

What do you feel your class and spec bring to the raid? Do you feel like you need to explain some talent choices in the spec you have chosen?
Well it’s always a good thing to explain one’s talent choices and specs to give others more insight to why and if i at least know my class. So, as I’ve noticed from experience, that everyone’s play style is different. I chose this spec because it fits my way of playing perfectly and that it NEVER let me down in any raid at all and I NEVER had any complaints regarding it as well. I’ve also noticed that it is a very popular build for paladin tanks. I have to mention that I’m not afraid of changing anything in my current spec if the advice comes my way of course. I am always very eager to learn as I don’t know everything there is to know about the “Perfect” spec for my class. So if someone can give me advice on how to improve my current spec, they should feel free to share a few secrets… hehe.

Are you willing to change your talent spec to help the guild, and if so, do you have gear for any off-specs already?
I am always willing to do whatever is needed to help the guild. I my case of course i was born to tank... But i did put a lot of effort into my retribution spec(including everything is properly gemmed/enchanted) to change to a melee dps in raids where only 2 tanks are needed. So changing spec to help will not be a problem for me.

Can you show us a screenshot of your current ingame UI (preferrably during a raid)? Ok concerning my UI i have been used to the standard WoW UI since starting to raid. However i do use DBM, Pally Power and Omen when tanking. Once again i really don’t have a problem changing my UI if i really need to, if it can make me a better tank.

Please explain the reasons behind your choice of professions.
I chose Blacksmithing due to the two additional sockets for my Gloves and Bracers where i can slap in 2 extra gems. My second choice is Jewel Crafting for those sweet additional overpowered gems.

Do you have a good computer and a stable internet connection?
Yes i have a good computer and a 4MB ADSL connection which seems to be stable. I can’t promise that i’ll never dc but up until now i didn’t really have any connection issues. Well i did however have some issues with latency when the soccer world cup was here. But all are fixed now.

Do you have Ventrilo installed and a working microphone and will you be vocal?
Yes i do

What is your position on PvP?
Well i have never really focused on pvp in the past, but i certainly am looking at doing it soon. All my pvp experience currently are from Wintergrasp and some battlegrounds.

What is your position on roleplaying?
Well i like role playing a lot. That’s why i can’t stop playing WoW. I also respect others doing the same and will not be affected by it at all.

Where did you hear about RR Inc?
From the “wowprogress.com” website. I took a lot of time looking for a guild that’s willing to recruit a palladin tank.

Have you read the guild rules, and do you have any comments on them?
Yes and i am happy with them.

Answer: I am not really too clued up on mages, but it seems to me like Syndragosa would be the logical choice and the two abilities i know of are the Frost Aura she does and the Ice Tombs she does on random players.

2. I was imprisoned accidentally within The Arcatraz. Who am I?
Answer: Sorry i don’t know..yet. Kara was just before my raiding began.

3. In which bossfight is it imperative that you "dodge clouds"? Bonus points if you can name more than one.
Answer: Yoggy in Ulduar

4. How many types of vehicle can be used in the Flame Leviathan event? Also, can you name one?
Answer: 3, i like to use the Siege Engine

Round 2: Raiding & You

1. What is the hardest bossfight you have ever experienced? What was your role in this fight and how did it turn out?
Answer: Mimiron was a crazy fight for me as tank with all the movements and focusing needed as a tank.

Answer: Difficulty, Skill and Progress.

3. What has been your impression of Wrath of the Lich King so far?
Answer: Well in my case, as i started my “raiding career” in this expansion it’s been awesome for me. Learning end game content is like a drug, give give give more... So due to this i am addicted to WoW.

1. What are you looking forward to the most in Cataclysm and why?
Answer: I’m really looking forward to the new content, the story, where Azaroth is going and what’s happening. I have always been impressed by the actual stories of the Blizzard games. They should actually focus on making movies as well. The new raids are also a part of my curiosity but i will wait patiently for them. To be honest i haven’t done any betas and other ways of looking at the new content. I am waiting for the release and then the surprise of what’s new will mean more to me. I don’t peek.....

I play on Darkmoon faire EU But as i said The Guild is Going no wher at all and i notice that this guild is Good and is going places and its on a new server somewher Fun so i would Transfer to this Server if i got accepted I really dont mind at all so if that deters you at all please be Aware i will fit all Bills i will not ask anything of you paying for anything I will just Transfer to the server and then Contact the officer <3 <3 The reason i have no Game time and my Revalince is Low is because of everything that has been happening in my Life i have not had any time to do anything other than try fix my Relationship After it full broke down i just went into a downward spiral for around 4weeks and im just pulling myself out of it now so im on the mend haha (Y)

- I've always liked to raid and being social with other people who enjoy the game ans other persons company, I've watched some of your guild members videos from your raiding/pvping and other mischief and activites. What I feel I could bring to the guild is a good attendence and I good spirit. I'd love to join and enjoy both new and old content with you guys and gals.

When did you start playing WoW and what previous raiding experience do you have?
- I started playing WoW at the release of vanilla and played through the 3 expansions. My raiding experience is good, tough it's spread over a numerous different characters, but the raids I've been in is:

- Vanilla

- Zul'Gurub, Molten Core, Onyxia, Ruins of Ahn'Qiraj.

- The Burning Crusade

- about half of Zul'Aman, Karazhan and I tried Gruul's Lair.

- Wrath of the Lich King

- Naxxaramas, The Eye of Eternity, Obsidian Sanctum, Ulduar, VoA, Crusaders' Coliseum (ToC), Onyxia and the 6 first bosses in ICC.

Which previous guilds have you been a member of and why did you leave them?
- "Sacrifice" (Horde), I left because I didn't like their raid times at that time being (was at the start of WOTLK) and some people left so itbecame a new start for me so I joined "Order of Chaos" and the only reason I left them was because it got split up after some internal problems with different people in the guild.

Have you recently applied to any other guilds, or are you planning to?
- No I have not, and I'm not planning to apply to any more guilds.

Under which circumstances would you stop playing WoW or leave the guild?
- If I would stop playing if I grow bored of the game or if I would have to take a break to fix things in real life.

- I would probably attend 4 days on average, maybe 5 days, depending on what goes on in my life at the time being.

What do you feel your class and spec bring to the raid? Do you feel like you need to explain some talent choices in the spec you have chosen?
- My class don't bring any specific to the raid except the ability to revive a player into a ghoul momentarily to get that little extra damage if desired. Then my spec brings a 20% haste debuff to the bosses and a 13% magic damage taken debuff which increases the damage output of all classes that uses magic as damage. I don't think I need to explain any talent choices but if anyone of you wonders something about it I'll gladly reply.

- Ofcourse I'm willing to respec to anything the Death Knight class has to offer since I enjoy all the specs. I've got some gear for tanking and is currently gearing it up more to get a full set.

- I'm sorry, Wasn't able to get one during a raid, since I couldn't find one. But I took one while I was doing my daily heroic. So here it is:

Please explain the reasons behind your choice of professions.
- I've had many professions overall but I decided for engineering and alchemy because Engineering gives many fun and sometimes useful gadgets. Alchemy gives me the ability to make my own fine elixirs and flasks with increased effect and duration.

Do you have a good computer and a stable internet connection?
- I have a decent computer and a very good internet connection, but I ahve a new very good computer on it's way, so soon I will have both a really good computer and internet connection.

Do you have Ventrilo installed and a working microphone and will you be vocal?
- Yes, I installed ventrilo a few hours ago, but I've used it before so I'm familiar with the program.

What is your position on PvP?
-I don't like the pvp side of Lich King to much, but I don't dislike it either. So I like to pvp sometimes and doing it with a few familiar faces just makes it more fun.

What is your position on roleplaying?
- I've never roleplayed, and don't thnik I will, but I don't hold any grudges or anger towards people who do RP, since I play on a RP-PvP server afterall.

Where did you hear about RR Inc?
- I've seen the guild tag a few times, from different videos on youtube and especially from my time in "Sacrifice" when naxx was still new, when we wanted to kill Pandamonium so he didn't thundefuck us from the naxx meeting stone

- No, I've seen your members, but I haven't talked with anyone of them. But I hope maybe someone have a horde char on Ravenholdt and know me from the horde side.

- I've read them and understood them, and I have no comments on them.

Is there anything else that you would like to tell us?
- As I mentioned earlier I know about Pandamonium from my time in "Sacrifice" when he used to thunderstorm us down from naxx, and in his video "ThunderFuck 3 Naxxaramas edition" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gh6q...re=related) He mentions "Sacrifice" in the credits, and I believe I am in one of the clips at the end (around 2:05 in the timeslider), the Death Knight on the DK flying mount next to the red drake, but it's very hard to spot the name but I'm quite positive that's me for my first run in Naxxaramas. But I'm not gonna take false credits if it's not me.

Round 1: Name That Boss

Answer: Thorim, Hodir, Freya and Mimiron in Ulduar

Answer: Kael'thas in both the raid and the 5 man instance at the isle outside Blood Elfs, where you made most of your dailies at that time.

Round 2: Raiding & You

1. What is the hardest bossfight you have ever experienced? What was your role in this fight and how did it turn out?
Answer: Hex Lord Malacrass is probably the hardest one I've fought, I was a warlock and had to banish the imp if I remember correctly, we never managed to kill him since we failed on the adds before the boss.

2. Pick 3 aspects of raiding which are most important to you from the following: Lore, Difficulty, Loot, Prestige, Progression, Achievements, Mechanics, Friendship, Reputation, Skill, Dignity, Titles.
Answer: Progression, Difficulty, Friendship. Friendship is important when raiding, I think and experienced, when people are more familiar with eachother they perform better and is more at ease when talking and raiding with eachother.

3. What has been your impression of Wrath of the Lich King so far?
Answer: Some of the raids has made a nice impression, some less. The PvP side I don't find to good but it goes around. All in all I think it's below average (comparing to Vanilla and TBC), but not unplayable.

Round 3: General

1. What are you looking forward to the most in Cataclysm and why?
Answer: The revamping of zones and most of the classes, and being able to experience Azeroth once again, since it's my favorite zone of the 3 (Azeroth, Outland and Northrend).
